The API platform allows partners to retrieve up-to-date information on product assets, available services, inventory, and discount structures through a central interface. One feature provides detailed data for specific part numbers, supporting partners in developing and maintaining their own product information systems. The Inventory API offers real-time stock visibility, which the company says can support improved demand planning, faster order processing, and closer supply chain collaboration.
Process efficiency
The centralised API structure is intended to simplify data exchange between Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise and its partners.
