Beko has unveiled new home appliance features across its Beko, Whirlpool and Hotpoint brands, focused on measurable gains in time, energy use and food storage in everyday household tasks.

The updates cover washing machines, ovens, refrigerators, tumble dryers and hobs, with particular emphasis on shorter cycle times and lower energy use. They form part of a broader push to meet household demand for convenience and efficiency.

In laundry, Beko's patented UltimateWash Technology is used in a new Ultimate40' programme that washes a full load in 40 minutes. The system uses an adjusted inner drum paddle and a revised washing algorithm to dissolve detergent faster and distribute water more evenly through the drum.

Beko said the programme delivers the same cleaning performance on a full load while cutting time and energy use by up to 35% on daily programmes. The update sits at the centre of the company's message that appliance innovation should deliver clear day-to-day savings, not just technical advances.

Kitchen updates

In cooking appliances, Beko highlighted its PyroPro Self-Cleaning Technology for ovens. The system uses heat of 420C to burn away grease and food residue, leaving ash that can be wiped away after a 59-minute cleaning cycle.

Beko said the oven cleaning feature uses up to 47% less energy than a standard pyrolytic cycle, linking energy reduction to a task many consumers consider inconvenient and time-consuming.

Whirlpool, another brand in the portfolio, is positioning its latest products around design and efficiency. Its washing machine technology operates 60% more efficiently than A energy class models, while the machines also offer a 9kg capacity.

Whirlpool also outlined its MattProtect Technology for kitchen appliances, saying matte glass offers up to three times greater scratch resistance, up to three times easier cleaning and more than three times greater resistance to chipping than standard glossy ceramic glass.

Food storage

Refrigeration is another focus area for Beko, which said its AeroFlow technology helps maintain stable temperatures throughout the fridge and keeps food fresh for up to 30% longer. The company is rolling out new cabinet designs across built-in, freestanding and large-format models.

The range includes 54cm built-in and 60cm freestanding bottom-mount refrigerators, as well as models with capacities above 600 litres. Beko said the larger options include 91cm four-door multi-door and 91cm side-by-side refrigerators, with ice and water dispensers on both models and daily ice production of up to 2kg.

The new refrigeration range is intended to make food storage more efficient while fitting different kitchen layouts. Product details also point to a focus on larger households, where storage volume and ease of access can influence purchasing decisions.

Hotpoint, meanwhile, is drawing attention to laundry care and cooking speed. The brand said its FabricCare Technology in tumble dryers adjusts drum movement to reduce friction and provide gentler contact during drying, delivering up to twice gentler drying.

In cooking, Hotpoint said its dedicated pizza function can cook pizza in three minutes, producing a crisp crust, even browning and cooked toppings. The feature includes three intensity levels for different dough types and pizza styles.

Scale and portfolio

The product announcements also reflect the scale of Beko's multi-brand structure. The company operates in more than 55 countries, employs about 45,000 people and works across 22 brands through ownership or limited licence arrangements.

Beko said it is Europe's largest white goods company by volume share and reported consolidated turnover of EUR 10.7 billion in 2025. The group also said it has 28 research and design centres and offices worldwide, employs more than 2,000 research and development staff, and holds more than 4,500 international registered patent applications.

Ragıp Balcıoğlu, Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer at Beko, set out the company's approach in a statement accompanying the announcement.

"Innovation is not only about introducing new technologies. It is about understanding how people live and turning technology into solutions that deliver real benefits in everyday life. Across our brands, our latest innovations combine technology, performance and thoughtful design to save time in laundry and drying, simplify food preparation and cleaning, and help keep food fresh for longer. Powered by our global experience across markets and brands, strong R&D capabilities and design expertise, we continue to develop solutions that make everyday life simpler, more efficient and more enjoyable, while supporting a more sustainable way of living," Balcıoğlu said.
