Grandstream releases two new models in GCC6000 Series

Thu, 5th Sep 2024

Grandstream has announced the availability of two new products, the GCC6010W and GCC6011, as part of its GCC6000 Series of UC + Networking Convergence Solutions. These latest offerings join the pre-existing GCC6010 in delivering a multifunctional solution for unified communication, networking, and security.

The GCC6000 Series is designed to meet the needs of small-to-medium-sized businesses by integrating the functions of four different devices into a single platform. These devices include a VPN router, a next-generation firewall, an IP PBX, and a network switch or Wi-Fi access point. The series aims to simplify business data management, security, communication, and collaboration.

The new GCC6010W model features a built-in Wi-Fi access point with dual-band Wi-Fi 6 connectivity. It combines a router, IP PBX, firewall, and network switch within a single device. The GCC6010 and GCC6011 models offer a built-in router, IP PBX, firewall, and network switch. The GCC6011 includes 10 Gigabit ports, while the GCC6010 offers five Gigabit ports. Both models include two SFP ports.

The series provides enterprise-grade network security features such as an advanced antivirus engine, adaptive intrusion detection and protection, AI-based deep packet inspection, and sophisticated application control. Additionally, the GCC6000 Series supports secure central management through various interfaces, including the Grandstream Device Management System (GDMS), GDMS mobile app, local web UI, SSH, and SNMP.

The IP PBX function of the series offers various communication and collaboration tools, enabling audio and video meetings, calls, conferences, instant messaging, file sharing, and webinars. The integrated smart QoS engine is designed to prioritise real-time traffic, significantly reducing data latency for audio and video applications.

One of the key benefits highlighted is the easy deployment and provisioning process. According to the company, the one-click fast provisioning feature allows for setting thousands of IP endpoints within minutes, potentially reducing deployment time, labour, and costs by up to 99%.

The GCC6000 Series devices also support multiple WAN ports with load balancing and failover capabilities, enhancing connection reliability. Grandstream’s offering aims to bring together wired, wireless, and VPN networks with centralised control over all endpoint solutions, such as Wi-Fi access points, network switches, and IP phones.

The addition of the GCC6010W and GCC6011 to Grandstream's GCC6000 Series expands the range of unified communication and networking solutions available to small and medium-sized businesses. By integrating multiple functions into a single platform and offering robust security, ease of management, and flexible deployment options, the series provides a comprehensive approach to managing business communication and network infrastructure. The GCC6010W and GCC6011 are now available through Grandstream's global distribution channels.
