Hetzner Online, the German hoster and data centre operator, has received significant recognition at the Service Provider Awards held by Vogel IT Medien. The spotlight shone on the company as it clinched prestigious awards in two notable categories during the Service Provider Summit in Bonn.
Hetzner's continuous excellence was underscored when it secured the top prize in the Cloud Server category for the fifth consecutive year. Moreover, the company earned a Silver award in the Data Centre / Colocation XXL category, further cementing its standing as a key player in the industry.
The Service Provider Awards acknowledge the foremost contributors in the cloud and IT sectors across 13 distinct categories, including application hosting, data centres/colocation, and managed service providers. This year's awards attracted participation from over 16,000 readers who cast their votes to decide on the winners.
Christian Fitz, spokesperson for Hetzner, accepted the awards on behalf of the company. In his acceptance speech, he extended his gratitude to the readers, customers, and IT experts who supported Hetzner through their votes. He also highlighted the dedicated efforts of the Hetzner team, lauding their commitment to developing innovative solutions and maintaining a robust IT infrastructure.

At the gala ceremony held at the Steigenberger Grandhotel in Bonn, Germany, Christian Fitz was photographed accepting the awards, a testament to the company's achievements and its pivotal role in the international IT market.
Hetzner, founded in 1997, remains one of Europe's largest web hosting companies and data centre operators. The firm's data centre parks in Nuremberg, Falkenstein, and Helsinki are noted for their state-of-the-art, energy-efficient infrastructure.
