Telefónica Tech UK&I has announced a strengthened partnership with cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike, aiming to provide advanced Managed Detection and Response (MDR) technology to its customers. This partnership is set to bolster the digital protection capabilities of Telefónica's customers, offering more potent breach investigation and containment abilities.

By combining CrowdStrike's industry-leading AI-based CrowdStrike Falcon platform with Telefónica Tech's security expertise, the partnership aims to protect clients from breaches on devices, across digital assets, and in the cloud. The service is based on Telefónica Tech’s global capability and has already been made available in the company's European and American markets.

As part of the partnership, Telefónica Tech's MDR service will monitor client equipment 24/7, identifying and mitigating threats detected by Endpoint Detection and Response technology (EDR). This includes attack vectors like cloud computing environments and identity-based attacks and extends detection capability through its proactive hunting capability, searching for signs of compromise missed by other security measures.

This partnership will enable Telefónica Tech UK&I to leverage CrowdStrike's AI-native Falcon XDR platform, ensuring that advanced protection is offered 24/7, even if the endpoints are not connected to the internet.
