Zen launches business fund for UK customer milestones

Zen Internet has launched the Big Moments Business Fund for UK business customers, offering cash prizes linked to eligible business service orders.
Running through the summer, the programme will automatically enter qualifying customers into monthly prize draws when they buy eligible services from the broadband and communications provider. It is intended to recognise smaller milestones in business development rather than headline measures such as turnover or staff numbers.
The campaign focuses on moments such as winning a first major customer, recruiting a new employee, launching a product, moving into new premises or investing in technology. For smaller firms, those steps often reflect long periods of planning, spending and decision-making.
Under the scheme, four monthly cash prizes of £50 will be awarded during the campaign period, with two further prizes of £250 at the end. Eligible entrants are business customers purchasing qualifying Zen services.
Growth markers
The launch is part of Zen's effort to present itself as a broader business partner at a time when connectivity and communications services are increasingly tied to day-to-day expansion plans. Many smaller companies now rely on internet and digital tools to recruit remote workers, use cloud software, improve customer contact and support hybrid working.
That has made telecoms and internet providers more prominent in discussions about business growth, especially among smaller organisations making technology investments in stages. The new fund is designed to acknowledge those investment decisions as well as the operational milestones that follow.
The Rochdale-based provider says it has worked with businesses across the UK for more than 25 years and has seen customers move from early-stage hiring and first premises to more established operations. The initiative is framed around the idea that business progress is usually shaped by a series of incremental steps rather than a single breakthrough.
Richard Tang, Founder and Chairman of Zen Internet, linked the campaign to the company's early history. "I remember many of the milestones that shaped Zen in the early days. Every growing business has moments that stand out, whether that's winning a first major customer, hiring a new employee, or making an investment you've been working towards. They're the moments that build confidence and help businesses move forward.
"That's why we wanted to create a campaign that celebrates those achievements and gives something back to our business customers to support and recognise their journey."
Customer stories
Alongside the prize draw, Zen is asking businesses to share accounts of the milestones that have shaped their development. It plans to feature a selection of those stories across its channels, focusing on achievements such as securing contracts, opening locations, launching services and building a stronger online presence.
The campaign arrives as many UK businesses continue to weigh spending on digital systems and communications against broader cost pressures. For smaller firms in particular, investment in connectivity, online tools and customer-facing systems is often tied to specific operational decisions rather than broad transformation plans.
This gives initiatives such as this a dual role: rewarding current customers while reinforcing the link between telecoms services and practical business expansion. Zen's approach also highlights routine but important decisions, such as adding staff or changing premises, as milestones worth recognising in their own right.
The fund is intended to support customers as they work towards their next step, with the final campaign prizes set at £250 each.
