Colt & Versa Networks reach milestone of 1,000 SD-WAN services
Colt Technology Services has partnered with Versa Networks to mark a significant achievement of delivering 1,000 SD-WAN services in 55 countries remotely since its launch in April 2023. Through Versa Networks' SD-WAN platform, Colt has successfully developed an automation frame. This development significantly reduces connection time for global customers from 90 minutes to 12 seconds and minimizes the risk of manual errors.
This accomplishment underpins Colt's commitment to streamline digital services for clients worldwide. It represents a critical stride in automating and enhancing the delivery of SD-WAN services. Colt's SD-WAN and SASE business has witnessed consistent growth due to increasing security concerns, cloud migration, the need for remote working, and flexible adaptation to fluctuating market dynamics. Furthermore, the technology supports companies' efforts to cut carbon emissions by prioritising more energy-efficient routes for non-critical applications.
Carlos Jesus, Vice President of Service Delivery at Colt Technology Services, said, "We listen intently to our customers and constantly look for ways to improve and innovate to make their lives easier. Automating and simplifying the delivery of our SD-WAN services is a critical part of this continuous improvement mission. Remotely provisioning our 1,000th Versa SD-WAN service shows how important automation has become in our customers' journeys to digital transformation. It's testament to the strength of our longstanding partnership with Versa."
Hector Avalos, Vice President of EMEA MSPs at Versa Networks, noted the determination on both sides to benefit customers: "We are delighted to partner with Colt to deliver these industry-leading automation capabilities. The enhanced combination of our capabilities and Colt's technology bridges the gap between an organisation's business objectives and enforcement of Versa's SD-WAN network, enabling Colt's customers to achieve faster time-to-value, reduced costs, and improved agility."
This milestone is marked 100 days since Colt's acquisition of Lumen EMEA in November 2023. Despite the acquisition, Colt has remained focused on integrating the organisations smoothly to scale and provide increased services across the world to its customers.
According to a Gartner report from 2023, the SASE market is projected to burgeon from $7 billion in 2022 to $25 billion by 2027, at a CAGR of 29%. The achievement by Colt and Versa Networks places them in a strong position in this rapidly growing market, enhancing their ability to meet increasing demand for SD-WAN services and solutions.
