Emergn expands Praxis platform for product management

Wed, 9th Apr 2025

Emergn has announced the expansion of its Praxis platform, enhancing its capabilities for product management training and support across organisations.

The Praxis platform now offers new features to its users, which include Praxis Professional individual users and enterprise subscribers. These features are intended to further expand Emergn's influence and support its clients in achieving a product-centric approach.

A recent Transformation Fatigue survey by Emergn highlighted the significance of effective transformations, with 70 percent of employees acknowledging their importance for maintaining competitiveness. However, 58 percent also reported feeling burnt out due to the additional workload introduced by new change programmes. The findings suggest that without a product-focused mindset, investments in strategy, technology, and processes may not be fully effective.

Alex Adamopoulos, Chairman and CEO of Emergn, commented, "Praxis is an extension of what Emergn has been doing since our inception in 2009. It's built on our renowned VFQ philosophy, which has helped major global brands, including Walmart, GSK, BP, Maersk, and hundreds more, become product development leaders. Praxis expands and complements our ability to provide product guidance and support to our current and future customers – whether individuals, small businesses, or global enterprises."

The platform, launched in September 2024, includes three new features aimed at bolstering product management capabilities: The Ultimate Product Manager Pathway, a customised Learning Journey, and enhanced Productivity Tools and Resources. These are designed to help organisations adopt product management mindsets and practices.

The Ultimate Product Manager Pathway adds Product Strategy to its curriculum, complementing Product Discovery and Product Delivery. This feature aims to equip learners with the necessary skills to refine their product strategies, generate stakeholder support, and promote organisational growth.

The Learning Journey function offers customised paths by recommending specific learning modules and courses suited to users' jobs-to-be-done and learning goals. This allows learners to select among module-based or course-based approaches, fostering immediate application of acquired knowledge while developing key skills for long-term career advancement.

Productivity Tools and In-Depth Resources include a powerful AI Consultant and interactive templates, aiding in the daily operations of product teams. These resources extend Praxis' enterprise return on investment well beyond basic training, providing valuable insights into achieving product success.

Later in 2025, Praxis will launch certifications in Product Discovery, Delivery, and Strategy for users of all tiers, alongside existing certifications in fields like Leadership and Software Engineering.

Adamopoulos remarked, "Current product management training is based too much on theory, leaving product managers unable to effectively execute their role – which ultimately prevents organizations from capturing market share, growing revenue, and achieving their goals. Praxis goes beyond theory, enabling people and companies to perform using the same work-based learning approach Emergn has used to help the world's biggest brands develop lasting capabilities, execute successful product strategies, and drive continuous innovation."

The platform offers three tiers of licenses: Praxis Professional, Praxis Business, and Praxis Enterprise. Each tier provides different levels of course offerings, consultancy support, and customised pathways, suitable for varying organisational needs.

Dr. Alexander Osterwalder, Founder and CEO of Strategyzer, praised Praxis, stating, "Success comes from linking innovation with transformation. It's what we call 'dual mindset organizations.' I have witnessed Emergn successfully implement this approach in organizations around the globe. I have complete trust in them as a partner in building product-centric companies and capabilities."
