Expereo appoints Kevin Brown as Chief Operating Officer

Tue, 10th Mar 2026

Expereo has appointed Kevin Brown as Chief Operating Officer, creating a new senior executive role focused on integrating operations across customer- and supplier-facing activities worldwide.

Brown will oversee operational strategy, transformation delivery, and performance across functions that interact directly with customers and suppliers. He will also work with Expereo's Digital Office on the company's digital transformation programme.

The appointment comes as Expereo positions its managed network services around global connectivity for enterprise and government customers. Its portfolio includes global internet connectivity, managed SD-WAN, and SASE offerings.

Operations brief

Brown joins from NCC Group, where he served as Global COO. He developed and scaled operating models across the security services group, focusing on customer experience and efficiency.

Earlier, he led the cybersecurity business at BT, driving operational change in a large telecoms environment and within a unit selling security services to corporate clients.

The COO remit covers all customer- and supplier-facing functions, creating a single executive owner for operational integration and execution across these teams.

Service model

Expereo operates in the managed Network as a Service market, where customers buy networking services on a recurring basis rather than owning all underlying infrastructure. In practice, the model relies on supply chains of network providers and partners across different countries.

Expereo works with more than 2,300 partners and provides services in more than 190 countries. Partner-heavy delivery models typically require strong operational co-ordination, supplier management, and consistent service processes across regions.

Expereo also sells security-related networking services, including SASE. Vendors in this segment typically combine wide area networking with security controls delivered from the cloud or at the edge of the network.

Customer focus

Expereo counts large multinationals among its customers and says 60% of Fortune 500 companies use it as a partner.

Brown linked his move to growing demand for secure, resilient connectivity.

"I'm joining Expereo because it sits at the center of one of today's most critical business needs - secure, resilient global connectivity. The opportunity to help scale a high-ambition business and deliver real-world impact was one I couldn't ignore. I look forward to working with the team to drive operational excellence, accelerate transformation, and strengthen the customer experience across all functions," said Kevin Brown, Chief Operating Officer, Expereo.

Ben Elms, Expereo's Chief Executive Officer, said the appointment strengthens accountability for the operating model as the company continues to change how it runs customer- and supplier-facing groups.

"Kevin brings deep operational expertise and a proven record of transforming complex businesses at scale," said Elms.

"As we continue to evolve our customer and supplier-facing functions, his leadership will create a single point of executive ownership, enabling faster decision-making, clearer operational integration, and stronger execution across the business. Kevin's appointment is a key milestone in our next phase of growth and operational evolution," he added.

Ownership background

Expereo is backed by private equity. Vitruvian Partners acquired the company in 2021 and took a majority shareholding from Seven2.

Private equity-owned services businesses often seek tighter operational integration as they scale internationally. They also tend to invest in systems and process changes to support growth across regions and larger global accounts.

Brown will work with Expereo's Digital Office as the company continues technology and process changes across customer- and supplier-facing functions.
