Gamma & Crexendo partner to boost global UCaaS through OCI
Gamma Communications and Crexendo have entered a strategic cooperation aimed at enabling service providers to pursue international growth through integrated cloud-based communication solutions, underpinned by Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
This partnership brings together Gamma's regulatory-compliant public switched telephone network (PSTN) reach across Europe and Crexendo's NetSapiens platform, which is engineered as an API-first unified communications as a service (UCaaS) solution. The collaboration aims to make it easier for service providers to scale business operations across multiple countries, utilising a cloud foundation known for reliable global operations and consistent performance.
International reach
Combining Gamma's voice enablement and NetSapiens' UCaaS software, the companies intend to support partners and end users in new and existing markets by providing compliant voice coverage, global numbering plans, and adaptable communication solutions. Crexendo's NetSapiens platform currently serves more than six million users worldwide.
Through the integration with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, service providers will have access to a cloud platform designed to support high levels of reliability and enterprise-grade security for global service delivery. As a result, providers are expected to reduce time-to-market for launching new services and lower their operational and capital costs for international expansion.
Regulatory compliance and scalability
The partnership is designed to address obstacles commonly faced by service providers when entering new territories, such as regulatory compliance, infrastructure complexity, and integration with local voice services. By leveraging pre-integrated session initiation protocol (SIP) services and collaboration tools on a unified, cloud-native platform, the offering is intended to streamline onboarding and operational readiness for service launches.
"Service providers are increasingly operating across international borders, and they need a partner ecosystem that's as global and agile as their ambitions," said Scott Goodwin, Managing Director, Crexendo's NetSapiens International Division. "OCI allows us to offer just that-giving partners a consistent, scalable platform with the assurance of regulatory compliance and enterprise-grade resilience. It's never been easier to launch globally and grow confidently."
Gamma anticipates that utilising Oracle's cloud infrastructure alongside NetSapiens' technology will provide its partners with both the necessary technical framework and industry compliance for cross-border communications.
"This partnership is about removing the friction from global expansion. By collaborating with NetSapiens and leveraging OCI, we're delivering simplicity, speed, and scale for our mutual partners," said Mike Mills, Managing Director, Service Providers, Gamma. "Our customers benefit from a cloud solution with built-in voice compliance and the technical excellence needed to support growing end-user demands."
Cloud infrastructure perspective
Oracle reports that its cloud infrastructure will facilitate Gamma and Crexendo in delivering communication services that require rigorous compliance, security, and reliability standards. The infrastructure is intended to help reduce management complexity for providers, thus encouraging quicker innovation and facilitating access to new geographic markets.
"OCI gives companies like Gamma and Crexendo the performance, security, and global scale they need to deliver reliable, compliant communications services," said Rick Vanaria, Group Vice President, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. "By removing infrastructure complexity, OCI enables them to innovate faster, reach new markets more easily, and provide partners and customers with reliable, flexible UCaaS capabilities worldwide."
Market positioning
Gamma supplies communication solutions across Europe, with a primary focus on the UK and Germany and additional operations in Spain and the Benelux region. Its model involves working with channel partners for small and medium-sized enterprise clients in the UK and engaging directly with larger enterprise and public sector customers for more complex projects.
Crexendo provides cloud communications, video collaboration, and managed IT services to a multi-national client base, the majority of which are enabled through its NetSapiens platform.
The companies plan to leverage their cooperation to support mutual partners and customers as they respond to increasing global demands for scalable, secure, and accessible communications tools, while aiming to minimise the traditional costs and complexities associated with international operations.
