Juniper Research has announced the winners of its Telco Innovation Future Digital Awards for 2024. Recognising excellence across multiple categories including mobile roaming, messaging, 5G, the Internet of Things, and more, the awards highlight new and innovative solutions in the telecommunications space.
In the "Judges Choice" category, Sinch was applauded for Excellence in Telco Innovation, while Mitto CEO Andrea Giacomini received the accolade for Mover & Shaker in Telco Innovation.
The Enterprise Telco Innovation category saw winners named in diverse areas. Best AI Chatbot Solution was awarded to Gupshup with its ACE LLM platform, while Digital Virgo secured Best Carrier Billing Solution. Vonage’s Contact Center won Best CCaaS Solution, and Tata Communications' Customer Suite was recognised as the Best Conversational Commerce Solution.
VodafoneZiggo & BlueConic received the Best Customer Data Platform Solution award. Commenting on the win, Nicky Peterse, Lead Principal Customer Success Manager at BlueConic stated, "Telecommunications companies face challenges that make it difficult to use real-time first-party data to support customer experiences. It's great to see VodafoneZiggo deriving so much value from our platform."
BICS won Best Robocall Mitigation Solution for FraudGuard, with Senior Vice President of Communications Solutions at TransUnion, James Garvert, highlighting the significance of such recognition, "In 2022, US consumers lost more than $660 million to imposter scams which often start with a spoofed call. We’re delighted to be recognised for our solution in the security and fraud space."
In addition to recognition for Best Conversational Commerce Solution, Tata Communications also secured a Gold Win for Best CCaaS Solution. "This recognition is a testimony to our dedication towards innovation", said Mauro Carobene, Head of Customer Interaction Suite (CIS), Tata.
Interop Technologies secured award for Mobile Messaging Innovation of the Year. Steve Zitnik, CTO and EVP at Interop Technologies, commented, "This award is a nod to our team's user-centric approach; ensuring that advanced technology is both accessible and beneficial to every operator."
For Best Flash Call Authentication Solution, VOX Solutions received the top honour. CEO & Founder at VOX Solutions, Ehsan Ahmadi, remarked, "These awards affirm our continuous commitment to maintaining leadership in innovation for monetisation and anti-fraud services."
Lastly, Telesign secured the award for Best AGT/AIT Fraud Solution. "Today, fraud costs businesses about 5% of annual revenue, with the average loss per case totalling more than $1.78 million. More needs to be done to stem the tide of digital theft," said Christophe Van de Weyer, Telesign’s CEO.
