Spirent Communications modernises with SnapLogic GenAI integration

Thu, 29th Aug 2024

Spirent Communications has adopted the SnapLogic Platform to implement Generative AI (GenAI) across its operations. The integration is aimed at modernising Spirent's platform and advancing its GenAI-powered transformation.

SnapLogic, known for its no-code GenAI App Builder, facilitates the development of large language model (LLM)-powered applications and workflows. Spirent has utilised this tool to create an internal sales intelligence tool, which offers pre-synthesised and summarised customer and competitive information for sales and support teams. Previously, team members spent over eight hours weekly on these tasks manually. Within the first ninety days of deployment, Spirent reported a 25% boost in business intelligence worker productivity and anticipates a 5% increase in sales productivity.

Matt Bostrom, Vice President of Enterprise Technology at Spirent, discussed the company's motivations and experiences with GenAI integration. "Spirent is committed to helping employees and customers innovate faster by addressing the challenges of new and emerging technologies and required a modern integration tool to streamline our increasingly sprawling systems," he said. "After comparing all available platforms on the market, SnapLogic proved to be the highest performing solution for data and application integration and GenAI application development, eliminating the need for multiple tools, licences, and vendors, ultimately reducing platform maintenance costs by 90%."

Bostrom further noted the swift development capabilities provided by SnapLogic. "With the ability to seamlessly build GenAI applications in-house using SnapLogic's GenAI App Builder in just a matter of days, SnapLogic has been essential in automating processes, eliminating costly resources, streamlining business operations, and presenting the internal teams with relevant AI-powered information within applications they are already familiar with."

Jeremiah Stone, Chief Technology Officer of SnapLogic, highlighted the added value that Spirent's use of GenAI has brought to the table. "Despite the noise about GenAI not delivering value, Spirent and other leading companies are demonstrating that with the right use case and architecture, tremendous value can be unlocked," he remarked. "Spirent recognised the transformative power of GenAI for their business and had the courage to drive their vision into production, utilising our best-in-class solutions to orchestrate AI technology to streamline their customer intelligence operations and deliver to its teams. This is just the tip of the iceberg."
