TP-Link appoints Ben Allcock to lead UK & Ireland B2B growth

Thu, 25th Sep 2025

TP-Link has appointed Ben Allcock as Vice President - B2B for the UK and Ireland.

In the new position, Ben Allcock will oversee the strategic direction, sales, and operational delivery of TP-Link's business-to-business segment in the region. He is tasked with continuing the company's 40% year-on-year growth and will lead a team of 35 professionals, noted as the largest B2B team TP-Link has operating in Europe.

Leadership responsibilities

Allcock's responsibilities will encompass strategic planning, sales growth, technical oversight and ensuring commercial objectives are met. His role follows a period where, as Sales Director UK&I, he contributed to expanding TP-Link's operations, highlighted by the establishment of a 120,000 sq ft warehouse in Newbury. This facility increased the company's storage capacity by 50%, enabling shorter delivery times and an improved customer service standard.

The focus for Allcock in this new capacity will involve positioning TP-Link as a preferred partner for small and medium enterprise networking and security solutions across the UK and Ireland.

Background and experience

Ben Allcock's career spans more than 25 years in sales, commercial strategy, and leadership, specifically within the UK, Ireland, and broader EMEA technology sectors. Before joining TP-Link in 2011, he held senior roles at a number of technology-focused organisations, including Netgear and Channel Solutions, where he was involved in initiatives targeting growth in consumer, SMB, and enterprise markets throughout the region.

"It's a privilege to be in a position where I can positively influence the direction of the business, TP-Link is going from strength to strength in the UK&I region, and it's an exciting time to be part of this journey. I'm proud to lead and be part of such a high-calibre and motivated team.
Our partners are at the heart of everything we do, from product development to service delivery, and we're committed to growing together through trust, collaboration, and shared success."

His broad experience and established relationships within the supply chain are expected to support TP-Link in deepening collaboration with partners and driving solutions tailored to evolving business needs.

Management commentary

Commenting on the appointment, Nelson Qiao, Managing Director at TP-Link UK&I, said, "Ben's promotion is a reflection of his outstanding leadership and the results he's delivered. His deep understanding of the market, combined with his passion for building strong partner relationships, makes him the ideal person to lead our B2B business into its next phase of growth."

Allcock's plans for the business include further investment in people and systems to empower his team, improve the customer experience, and cultivate stronger partnerships by working collaboratively with other organisations across the sector.

TP-Link's stated ambition is to enhance its offerings for small and medium-sized enterprises in the networking and security segment, as well as continue satisfying the needs of its channel partners throughout the UK and Ireland. The company points to ongoing investment in staff and expanded infrastructure as factors positioning it for continued progress in the business market.
