Fibreplus announces strategic alliance with VIAVI Solutions
Fibreplus, a UK-based telecommunications distributor, has announced a new strategic alliance with VIAVI Solutions.
This partnership will involve the distribution of select fibre optic testing instruments from VIAVI, including the T-BERD/MTS-4000 OTDR and the SmartPocket V2 OLP-39 TruePON Power Meter.
The move comes in response to growing customer demand for VIAVI equipment, signalling a shift in Fibreplus's supplier partnerships. Rhys Brine, Associate Director at Fibreplus, commented on the development, stating, "We are excited to continue our trajectory of growth and our commitment to offering our existing customers and our new customers a total service solution by partnering with VIAVI."
Fibreplus plans to bolster its existing services as part of this agreement. The company will enhance its hire fleet, maintain a fully-equipped repair and calibration centre, and continue to operate a comprehensive training facility. Brine added, "We are excited to be a service and repair centre for VIAVI in the UK."
Daniel Black, Director of Sales for the UK, Ireland, and Nordics at VIAVI Solutions, expressed similar enthusiasm for the collaboration.
