Global TV Experts has appointed Maddie Minty as International Growth Manager as the media buying company expands its client work across several international markets.

Minty joins from the telecoms sector, where she spent a decade in roles including Sales Manager and Head of Community Engagement at Virgin Media, Netomnia and Toob. Her brief covers prospective clients in sectors including iGaming, eCommerce and travel.

She will work across established markets such as Canada, the EU and Africa, as well as newer markets including the US. The role involves helping businesses develop television advertising strategies focused on brand awareness, customer acquisition and growth planning.

Growth hire

Global TV Experts specialises in television advertising for regulated gaming, betting and entertainment brands. It works with clients across more than 50 jurisdictions, offering services including strategic planning, media buying, campaign optimisation and support for market entry.

The appointment adds a sales and engagement executive with experience in competitive consumer markets. Before joining Global TV Experts, Minty held customer-facing and commercial roles at broadband and telecoms providers, focusing on expansion and market growth.

Adam Shorts, Chief Operating Officer at Global TV Experts, said the appointment would support the company's push in both established and newer markets.

"Welcoming Maddie into the team has already proven to be a winning decision. With her expertise in sales and engagement, she's the perfect fit to help GTE continue our global growth strategy. Working in both our established markets such as Canada, the EU and Africa, as well as our newly launched geos such as the US, Maddie will help new clients understand that in a world of digital oversaturation, TV advertising offers an incredible and dependable marketing route," said Adam Shorts, Chief Operating Officer at Global TV Experts.

Sector focus

Minty will work with businesses looking to use television advertising as part of wider growth plans. Her sector focus includes iGaming, eCommerce and travel, where competition for customer attention and acquisition remains intense.

The move also reflects continued hiring by specialist agencies serving regulated sectors and international advertisers. As rules differ across jurisdictions, agencies in television media buying have sought staff with commercial experience who can work with clients entering both mature and newly opened markets.

Minty also explained her reasons for joining the business.

"I have always prided myself on working with companies where the team around me is engaged, wants to make a positive difference, and genuinely cares about the customer and the impact we can have. I felt that alignment with the team at GTE straight away and knew it was where I wanted to take the next step in my career," said Minty.
